I didn't update the blog yesterday because there just wasn't that much to say. We cleaned the house and went to meet MJB to pick up the rest of our documents to get us out of here. We have a stack of papers to take with us to Guayaquil tomorrow and then another stack for the exit from Quito. We watched the BYU game in the afternoon and played some games. Super exciting right? When dinner time rolled around, we discovered that our stove was out of gas. Yippee. So it's been microwave cooking all weekend since the office staff aren't here to change the gas cans. It's been fun. We had potatoes last night, sandwiches for lunch today, and quesadillas tonight for dinner. A real good meal sounds great right about now.
Today was just about as exciting as yesterday. We went to church this morning and have spent the rest of the day at home, playing games, doing a grandma puzzle, and watching a movie. Our missionaries were supposed to come over, but it's a lot harder now that Devin is gone. The ward member who was supposed to come with them cancelled last minute, so they couldn't come. We hope to see them once more before we leave for Mishell's sake. At least we will get their email addresses to keep them up to date on how she's doing when we get home.
We leave tomorrow at 5 am to get to our flight to Guayaquil. We don't get back until 9:30 pm, so wish us a whole lot of luck on our last big hurdle. It will be a really long day, especially for Jace. Then our flights are out of here Tuesday late late. Yipeee. CAN.NOT.WAIT.TO.GET.HOME.
The end. No pictures. :)
