Watch me Grow: Lizzie October

Lizzie turned 3 months old in October. 

Here is what I posted about her on Instagram for her 3 month birthday:

Lizzie Pie is 3 months old! I was going to be singing her praises about sleeping 7 pm to 7 am the last few nights, but she ruined that last night by waking up at 4 am and deciding to start her day then. Not cool, baby. Anyway, Lizzie at 3 months (time really flies!!):
*rolled from front to back for the first time on dad's birthday (Oct 4) and has done it inconsistently since. A new developing skill.
*Regularly eats 4 ounces per feeding *loves her swing and bouncer. She sits in the bouncer and just grins at the dancing lights
*starting to find her voice and will coo and "talk" to us
*is a very easy going and pleasant baby for the most part *I don't know how much she weighs, but I feel like she's grown a lot this month.
Lizzie has definitely captured the hearts of all of us. She's one loved little baby.

I've been waiting patiently for Lizzie to fit into this dress. It was a gift from my uncle @blrow. When he sent it, I cried a little because it reminded me of my dear Aunt Linda, his wife that passed away 5 years ago. You have to know when I use the terms "aunt" or "cousin", it means something much deeper as these people are my closest friends and confidants. Linda's death is still the single most difficult thing I've ever been through. Anyway, I texted Brad to tell him thank you when the dress arrived and he told me he picked what he thought Linda would have picked. She did love a good cardigan. I knew it before he even said it though. It's so Linda. ❤ Happy Sabbath!

I know I'm such a Lizzie over grammer, but babyhood only happens once, you know? I was trying to get Lizzie to smile this morning while she was sitting with Jace and she was stone faced. Jace said, "Mom, all you have to say is 'Is this the girl I looooove? Yes, it issss!' (In his best baby voice) and she will smile for you!" Sure enough, she cracked this big old grin. Love them
