I don't know if any of you have a grandma that would make you Mickey Mouse pancakes when you were little, but mine did. It is a very fond memory of mine from my childhood. Now, whenever I have pancakes, I am tempted to make them Mickey Mouse style. I hadn't ever done it until the other day when we made oatmeal pancakes and we made on for Hallie. I don't think my Mickey Mouse pancake is nearly as good as my grandma's, but I'm pretty sure no one will ever equal her Mickey Mouse pancaking skills.
Yeah, see, mine looks like a heart. I will keep working on it Grandma!

I think it looks pretty similar to Mickey Mouse..impressive!!! That smile could make anyone melt..she is so cute!
Well all I have to say is that Hallie looks pretty happy with that Mickey Mouse pancake! Looks like a winner to me! She is so cute:)
look at that grin! She is adorable!
I can't believe you gave Hals a piece of food and got a picture of her without it in her mouth! I am dumbfounded... in other news, I would give the pancake a 6, maybe you should have started with the snowman?
Wow, that's pretty good kim. But I think grandma's would still win. Does Hallie eat pancakes now??? I want the recipe for the oatmeal pancakes. Is it in the family cookbook or the recipe blog?
Kim,
I used to make you girls Mickey Mouse pancakes too!

Kim I just have to say that I love you and your sweet thoughts about adoption. Who knows if I will being doing that someday, but I am so grateful that there are others out there going through the same thing. Thanks for the reminder and for being so understanding. You are an amazing person!
