Day 4, we woke up at the crack of dawn in order to make the 4 hour drive back to Atlanta. We wanted to be to the Braves Stadium as soon as it opens- after all, this is why we planned this trip! We got there just after it opened and enjoyed walking around and taking in the stadium before we settled in for the game. We had seats above home plate, near the announcer's booths. It was kind of fun to watch the announcers too because I listen to them on TV all the time. The Braves sadly lost this game, those fools, but everyone had a great time. They played against the Royals. After the game (it was a day game), we drove to our new airbnb and on the way stopped to eat at Waffle House, something none of us had every experienced, but figured we should while we were in the south. It was not bad. We stayed up late on several nights, including this one, playing our favorite game- the Crew. The airbnb had this amazing rooftop patio with a tv, couches, and a perfect table for games.
Tons of pictures of the Braves game to come, cause ya know. Seeing our favorite team at their home stadium with all our kids, plus Jen & Steve and their kids = dream come true.
