Lizzie Little Mermaid

Lizzie is currently in a play at the Zigfield Theater, a kids version of Little Mermaid. She is an ensemble character and is a chef, ship mate, and crab. The play is adorable and she and the others have all worked hard in their parts. It has been so fun to see her perform! Tre's dad takes photos for the theater too, so we have some fantastic action shots of her, thanks to him.

And a few unprofessional pictures from opening night!

She was so glad her cousins could come support her!

Unclear how she got a shout out in there, cause neither devin nor I remember doing it. HAHAH! Parents of the year, though!

Lizzie's best friend Gretel is Flounder and did such an incredible job. So cute.

April 2026

Per the usual, April was a whirlwind. It was crazy busy and a ton of fun. Here are some of our adventures:

Hiking/Running:
So many beautiful hikes, so many beautiful women (and the rare beautiful man!). I love where we live and the scenery around me. Running, not so much fun. But I am doing it. Only fun when we run to an ice cream shop! Ha.

Sadie's DYW:

We took a quick trip to Idaho for my neice Sadi's DYW- where she did amazing and won several scholarships! It was Easter weekend, so we stayed for an Easter egg hunt and amazing Easter meal Sunday before heading home. Of course I have only one picture. OH well!

Cousin Visit:
Jana and kids came for a night and we went to a movie, dinner, the boys made bread, the kids hot tubbed-- we had a great time! Love it when they come to visit. Here are my token 2 pictures.

Misc:

Dev and I- 19th Anniversary sushi!

Family Date to Hunchback at the Hale!

Except no Hallie, cause you know- she is super busy. Gretel got to come instead!

Breakfast with Laurie. One of my favorite humans ever.

Hallie's Prom:

Hallie went to Prom with her buddy Tre. They had a great time. And it's a real great thing that his did is a photographer, eh? Look at their cute prom photos!

Lizzie's Choir:
Lizzie has been in a community choir this school year, which has been a great experience for her. They have been performing at assisted living facilities and have done such a great job!

Disneyland with the Exes!!

I took a quick trip last weekend to Disneyland with a few of the exes (the women who formerly worked at ORMC with me-- no one works there anymore except Cami, and she is super PRN. I am a lone woman). We get together monthly and I can't remember how it came up, but someone mentioned wanting to go to Disneyland and well, we made it happen! We had the best of the best times. This is the least dramatic, least high maintenance group ever and we traveled together like a dream. It was Jessica's first time, which made it super fun and exciting. We used the lightning lanes like champs and at allllll the food. We saw it all and we did it all. I even insisted upon meeting one character per day, cause when in Disney, you gotta.

The highlight for me was that Devin contacted Cami beforehand and told her it would be our anniversary on the day we were coming home, so he asked if he could meet up with her to give her some cash so we could go to a fancy dinner while there. We ate at the Blue Bayou and I had no idea that he had sent $600 for our dinner! They surprised me at the end and told me. I read the texts Devin sent Cami and he told her he wanted to show his love for me by providing a few of the things I love most- time with friends and good food. He does know me well, doesn't he? :) The best human ever.

Anyway, enjoy 900 photos! So much fun. Everyone should adult Disney.

When you run into a photographer and it's just you and Cindy, you still stop and take a picture! haha!

My friend Jaime was there with her husband Mac and I was so happy to run into her too!

Just love these exes. Brandi, me, Cindy on top, Jess, Cami, Bridi on bottom

Blue Bayou dinner!
