Last week, while we were already in SLC for an appointment for Flor, we got the call that all of our documents were apostilled and ready to go at the capital. This was on Wednesday. It only took 3 business days for them to be done, which I was super happy about! We ran and picked them up and I finished compiling the whole dossier that afternoon. I had it to the post office by 4:30 that afternoon, but by that time, it was too late to overnight it, so we settled on having it get there by Friday. We sent our complete agency fees at this time as well. Phew. Feels so nice to have that big hurdle over with. The dossier will now be translated and sent to Ecuador. After that, we are eligible to be matched with our child! Who knows how long it will take....this is the really unknown period now. So keep us in your prayers if you will.
In all actuality, this process seems to be going faster than Flor's. It may just seem that way, though, because I am far, far less anxious about it. I know that I have little control over the situation, and so I am sitting back and trying not to stress over it. Anyway, onward and upward!

Jace really wanted his picture taken with the lion at the state capital. Hallie refused to be in it (as is her pattern these days). |

This is our completed dossier. Tons and tons of information about us. Every document has two additional pages attached to them, first the notary page and then on top of that the apostille page. |

This is what an apostille looks like |
