Insta-Sample May

May was a fun-filled month. Lots of exciting things happening, including a weekend get away to Idaho (minus Devin, poor thing) for Memorial Day. Another post with pictures will be coming next on that. Here are some Instagram pictures from the rest of the month, though: 

I came home from somewhere one day and Daddy had done the girls' hair. Who knew that he could curl hair and so well!? So cute. Best dad ever. 

These two requested a photo shoot one morning after Flor left for school. What cuties. They look so much alike sometimes, it's crazy. And yet, neither of them really look like Devin or me. Crazy genetics.

Jace playing basketball with an imaginary ball during Hallie's computer class one day. He has such an imagination and it's darling.

I went to Hallie's dress rehearsal for her final dance performance of the year. I knew we were in for a real treat just based on this costume alone. Yep. The whole performance was great.

I bought some new deodorant this month. Two sticks, actually! For those of you who know me really well, you will know why this is a big deal. :) 

On the same trip to the store, the sly Winco had cupcakes for kids to decorate for their moms for Mother's Day. How can you pass that up? Never mind that you then paid for your dozen cupcakes. Ha. 

And I made Flor eat a cupcake. She was NOT happy with me. That sugar hater.

I may have posted this one before, but it's cute enough to post again. Birth Mother's Celebration Walk. 

First day of school for me in 5 years! I started May 13 at the U and travel up four days per week on the Frontrunner. It has been great so far, especially because I can do work/homework both ways.

Hallie LOOOOOOVES steak. It is really quite crazy because she doesn't do other meats as well. For Sunday dinner, she ate nothing but the steak on her plate, even though the rest of the food was rather delicious (if I do say so myself). 

After her dance performance. She is a natural performer and hilarious to watch. She got flowers from daddy and our ward primary president (so sweet!). Their last dance was in their pajamas, in case you were worried about her outfit. 

A throwback Thursday post. I miss Ecuador so much sometimes!

BEST at home date night right here. No contest. Mmmm I could use some right now. 

The other night, Jace asked Hallie to rock him before bedtime and to sing him a song. Don't worry that he is just about as big as she is. 

And...Devin's golf balls. Seriously out of hand. He has a whole bag designated for me, too. HA! I know I am bad at golf, but with my rate of golfing at once per year, it is going to take yeaaaaarrrrs to use them all!

And these gems. Ahhhh. While we were getting ready for our annual Relay for Life garage sale (held today- success! Wahoo!) we are bound to find some SERIOUS gems...and this year was no exception. A small sampling of the awesomeness. That birdhouse number with the bonnet was one of the first things we sold, in case you wonder. hahah!
