Anniversary Celebration:
Our anniversary is not actually until the 26th, but at that point we will be staying with Devin's sister Mesha's four boys while Mesha and Aaron get to go on vacation. So we took an early get away to celebrate our wonderful 2 years of marriage. I am sure I will post more on our actual anniversary, but let's just say that Devin is a fantastic husband and I am so lucky to have him.
We celebrated by going up to Park City and staying the night at a hotel there. My cousin Che'Lyn was kind enough to take Hallie over night. I was so worried about it and Che' knows me too well...so she forbid me from calling all the time. She said I could have one phone call, which of course I used. Things were of course fine with Hals and she slept all night long for Che' and Landon, although I surely did not sleep well at all due to my worrying. Devin says I am a chronic worrier and sometimes I start to believe him. Anyway. We first went to dinner at Ruby Tuesdays. Perhaps we will have to make that a tradition every year since we went there last year for our anniversary too. The first picture is of us at the restaurant, but of course you can't tell.
After dinner, we went to do a little sightseeing and ended up going to a store that I absolutely loved. Anyone ever heard of the World Market? Well this place was amazing!! It had all sorts of trinkets, toys, and weird stuff from around the world. They had all sorts of toys that reminded me of my childhood as well as candies and stuff that I haven't seen in years. I swear they had everything there. Devin had to pry me out of there, but luckily I only bought a new journal since my last one ran out. We then went back to the hotel and sat in the hotel hot tub with a million teenagers. We loved watching them flirt. Not! We of course had to have "dessert", but we were too stuffed from our dinner to eat any there, so we just had all sorts of candy (we are sugar junkies) and pop. Saturday, we woke up and went shopping at the Outlet malls.
Who knows why, but Ky and Camille felt the urge to take pictures with their feet and the finished products. Don't worry, we disinfected the table. Kylee's egg is covering Hallie's head. How rude. I really enjoyed the short time we got to spend together, though I wish it were more.
This is my "ready to shop, don't mess with me" look. Actually, I really don't like shopping, I never have. But, I can't resist a good deal.
Devin's "who in the heck knows what this is supposed to mean" look. Ha ha! He is funny. He was a really good sport. We are speed shoppers, in and out, get what you need and done. We got some great deals, so we were happy. The one I am most proud of is that I got a pea coat (I have needed one forever...) that was originally $200 but we got it for $35. Yay for Easter sales.

Dyin' Eggs:
We had to be home by two because even though Devin had asked for the day off, he got scheduled to work. Gotta love Smith's. Anyway, it worked out fine since my friend Kylee was in town and I wanted to see her. While Devin was working, Camille, Kylee, and I dyed Easter eggs while Kylee's fiancee Seth watched Harry Potter in the living room. Apparently, he can't handle us all together. Not many people can.Who knows why, but Ky and Camille felt the urge to take pictures with their feet and the finished products. Don't worry, we disinfected the table. Date Night/Play:That night, we drove up to Salt Lake to meet my sister and Chris for a play at the Desert Star Theater. Devin and I had been there one other time and loved it, so we thought it would be fun to go. This time, Camille came and stayed in the condo Jen and Chris were staying at in downtown SLC to watch Hallie and Sadie. I am sure you are starting to think that my child is never with us since so many people babysat her in the last week. Well, it really seems like that to me too. I have missed her a ton. Anyway, we saw the play "American Fork Idol" (this place does parodies only) and oh my it was HILARIOUS. I highly recommend it. Super funny. Jen and Chris also had a good time. We ate while we watched the play, so it was quite a fun little date night with them. Oh by the way, that fulfils number 96 on my list. No, I haven't forgotten about it. I am working on it steadily. If you want to see how I am doing, you can go here. Here is Uncle Devin holding Sadie once we got back to the condo. Isn't she cute? Devin was loving holding her because she cuddles, something Hallie DOES NOT do.
and finally, Easter:Of course today was Easter. We had a good time at church. We had to have pictures with Hallie in her cute dress from Grandma. She looked cute, but she sure wasn't acting cute when she decided to scream through the first half of Relief Society. Oh well...It happens eh. I ended up pacing the hall with her until she fell asleep.
We also had Che' and Landon over for dinnner. We had some delicious (yet peppery) roast that Landon made, Chicken Courd-on-bleu (yeah we are carnivores, so what?), potatoes and cauliflower. Che' also made a fruit pizza for dessert, which we promptly ate ALL of. Yikes. We played a great round of spades; Devin and I lost terribly. Oh well, there is always next time. Sorry no pictures of dinner, I forgot to take any. But by this point, you are probably really dedicated if you are still even reading this post. Let's hear a big Hallelujah for it coming to an end! Ok, that is it. I am done. Finito. No mas.
