What the?!

I am pretty sure that I escaped ever being toilet papered in high school, but now here I am, in college (well not really, but Devin is), with a husband and child and THIS IS WHAT WE WOKE UP TO THIS MORNING!!! I don't know if it was aimed at us, if Hallie has enemies we don't know about, or perhaps it is a welcome home gift for our downstairs neighbors who brought home a new baby this week. Some gift though, eh? I have to admit, I laughed when I first saw it. Then we started trying to clean it up and it wasn't so funny anymore. Perhaps it is just retribution for me because I did my fair share of toilet papering in high school. Whoever did it did a really good job with the tops of the trees. Two neighbor college boys who I have never met came to help us clean some if it up. One tried the burning method, lighting the end on fire and burning the strand. That kind of scared me and seemed to take longer than just pulling it down. The other climbed a few trees and pulled stuff down. There is still quite a bit at the tops of the trees, but what do you do? It's ugly, but I guess we will live!

we saw that this morning. There is another house around the corner that had a similar pattern. They also had similar trees to yours, so it may have been a random act more than targeted. I can not say for sure though until more forensics are done.

Wow oh wow! Ha ha ha. They did do a good job. I got my fair share of being toilet papered in highschool and had many messes to clean. I must admit I only toilet papered once in my highschool career... but we hit 4 houses in one night. Oh memories. Sorry about the mess you have to clean up. I feel for ya.

That's an impressive toilet papering job. Are you sure Hallie hasn't been giving someone the stink eye?

That is pretty sad. I'm sorry you had to clean that all up. But, they did do a great job. I'm sure it was Hallie's enemies from church. You know, all those other babies are jealous of her adorable cheeks!!!

Ha ha that is pretty funny but crappy at the same time. I am happy you took pictures. One time when I was litte me and my friend toilet papered our neighbors house and then we felt so bad in the morning that we helped them clean it up and we never told them it was us. How rude are we. Well and nice too. Depending on how you look at it.
