My monthly picture dump!

We had Jennifer's kids overnight on a weekend so that she and Steve could go on a "babymoon". I think I earned favorite aunt status because I let the kids each pick whatever junk food item they wanted at Wal-Mart and then we watched a movie and ate pizza, frosted animal cookies, swedish fish, rolos, popcorn, and cookies. Yep, yep. I am sure Jennifer loves that I let them eat whatever they want, but you gotta have fun sometime in life, right!?

I got to have lunch with my friend Heather when I was down in Provo one of those times. It is fun to be able to see friends still cause I am down there quite a bit for business.

Jace wants me to help him build his train tracks EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. Gotta love this boy. He's obsessed with trains. Also gotta love the unfinished basement. Best playroom ever I tell ya.

Hallie started drawing a bunch of pictures in church one Sunday and then asking me to guess what they were. I was dying laughing at her drawings. Too cute. The top is a fly (holding who knows what?), Claire (naturally), a sunflower, then below is a cat (see the whiskers), a kangaroo, and a unicorn. So funny. I love watching kids' art skills develop. Pretty soon she'll have me passed up!

This girl. She is really quite clever. We ask the kids to raise their hands on certain words while we read the scriptures- "God", "Heavenly Father", etc. Now, she just raises two hands the whole time so that she'll be sure to get them all. Funny little thing!

A visit from Jovi! What cute girls.

Oh, the Davis County Fair. Is there ever an event quite as lovely as a fair? I think not. However, I have never met a fair that is as good as Eastern Idaho's fair yet. Anyway, I love to just enjoy the sticky, sweaty atmosphere and browse the booths of every item I've never wanted to buy. I do love the fair, though. Really. I think it's all about the food. I am such a food junkie and let's be honest, the fair has some of the nastiest but tastiest food. We ate dinner there and had straight junk, which I think is allowed one time per year. MMM HMMMM.

See what we had for dinner? I am not even going to name the items because that is too embarrassing.

Lauren and I have been participating in all sorts of adoption fairs, infertility events, etc. There is a whole long and extremely dramatic story that tells why our business name is not actually located on this booth anywhere, but let's just not get into that. Needless to say, we enjoy the fairs and getting the word out there about who we are and what we do. And that booth is looking mighty fine, is it not? All it needs is a big UTAH ADOPTION SPECIALISTS sign right there on the wall. We have one-- just not present at this particular fair. If you really want the story (the whole 1 of you reading this), you may call me and I'll relate it to you.

There's nothing better than visiting daddy at work and getting to ride on his awesome assortment of golf carts.

This cutie got her hair chopped off. She woke up one morning and told me that she wanted her hair as short as Sue-Dawgs (very short) and then decided she wanted it as short as Cortney's a few minutes later (equally short). We compromised on to the chin. She loves it and so do I. Love her. Can't believe she is growing up so much.

Sometimes these two get along and it's cute. And why is Flor wearing her warmest pajamas in the dead of summer? Well, I'll tell you. It's because we still can't trust her to not strip in the night and/or play with contents of her diaper if her pjs are not on backwards and zipped up. Still. Good thing she doesn't grow much- she can wear the same pairs she has for years to come.

Give Devin a couch and 5 minutes and he'll be asleep. Even when his child climbs right into his arms, he'll sleep on through it. Poor guy. He's tired.

I took the two younger kids to the Ogden Temple open house. Flor was at school and Devin wasn't able to come for the only time tickets were available. It was gorgeous and we can't wait to start going here sometimes. I think Hallie and Jace enjoyed it too. Sorry they both have their eyes closed in the picture. When the sun is in your eyes, what do you do?

Hallie took this one. Me and my boy. He squeezes my heart strings a lot. He's cute.

The house of the Lord. Holiness to the Lord.

And, I'm not really sure why I took a picture of Jace sleeping, but there it is. haha. He has finally graduated to wearing big boy undies to bed and we are thrilled to death to be done with diapers. For him at least. :)

Completely jealous of that last picture there!! Grady is STILL wearing diapers to bed. We have tried everything but now I am to the point of whatever. I am not going to fight it. You just wear diapers until your 62 kid! Love all the pictures...and I am very curious about your sign...I need to call!
