Devin and I are now the teachers of the 4 year olds in Primary instead of the Sunbeams. Moving up in the world! I know it shouldn't be that big of a difference from 3 to 4, but it definitely is. These kids actually understand what we are talking about and contribute to the lesson, which is nice. There is one girl in particular that is hilarious. She is always saying the funniest things. She volunteered to say the opening prayer for us in class on Sunday and this is how it went: "Dear Heavenly Father, Please bless the houses to stay standing. Please bless the flowers to stay pretty. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen." (Should I feel awful quoting her entire prayer here? I don't.) She'll probably never have to worry about that vain repetition thing. Lucky girl. Also, remember how I told you that Hallie is very particular about admitting that she loves me, but she will freely admit that she loves Devin? The proof is below. (To preface... I was asking her about nursery and midway through starting filming, that's why the video starts by talking about Jesus and asking about the other kids and stuff. Also, Hannah and Abby are the neighbor girls that she plays with, just in case you wonder why we are talking about them.)

Oh my gosh that is the funniest video ever!!! I'm sorry she shakes her head "no" to if she loves mommy. She's quite the little character! So cute!!!
haha... aww poor Momma! How sad she shakes her head no. :( I think Ty might do the same thing. When Daddy gets home, he is so excited and doesn't want much to do with me anymore. I think they get sick of being with us ALL DAY every day. :)
That's just hilarious. :)
I love the prayer and the video! Don't worry-- I think she says no because you are the one asking. Maybe you should have Dev ask her and see what she says.
hahaha, I was laughing so hard, what a stinker:) She is darn cute!
Haha! That was a great video! I love how emphatically she nods her head for dad but shakes it hard for mom! Sad! but you know that she loves you - You are an amazing mom, Kim. and one that I look up to very much! Enjoy working with the 4 year olds now!
That video is so funny! I will have to try that with Jaide. I think that is so fun that you and your husband get to teach a class together, very cool!!
One of these days when you have time will you send me an invite to your adoption blog? jaimiejensenh@yahoo.com. Also when you put Hallies hair in pigtails or ponytails, what do you use to hold the hair with? I think Jaides hair is finally long enough.
That is so hilarious!!!! Great prayer too, at least maybe you can rest assured your house will stay standing for the week! :)
Kim, I am sure she loves you. She just is too shy to say it!! LOL
