Chores I Hate
How about cleaning the bathroom? Anyone love that? I sure don't. I finally broke down and cleaned it today, despite it needing it for much longer. Yikes. I think I am scarred from my childhood when my mom would stick her head clear in the toilet to make sure it was clean enough. Yep, we were also the deprived children who did not get toilet brushes or gloves, we just stuck our hands (or toothbrushes, depending on the level of dirtiness) straight in the bowl. In fact, I didn't even know a toilet brush existed until I was in high school or something terrible like that. My sister and I finally got smart and decided to start paying the neighbor boy to clean our bathrooms. He was a clean freak and my mom loved the work he did, so it worked out nicely for all of us.

Kim...I am Chris's sister Stephanie and I always read your blog but never post...but I have to say...you are hilarious!! I love your blog...it just makes me laugh. So kudos to your great sense of humor and thanks for making me smile!! P.S. The really sad thing is I thought your bathroom post was great...maybe that puts me on the same low as you... :)
I hated cleaning at your house. But here is a big shout out the Andrew the anal cleaner and the extreme vacuum collecter. (is that how you spell anal for the way I mean because it kind of looks bad Oh Well you know what I mean)
Kim, here's my secret to never having to scrub nastiness out of a toilet ever again. I discovered it in college and have never scrubbed since. You can even put it in a dirty toilet and in a few days, it's cleaned itself. Inconceivable!
haha!! I hate toliets too..and the last time was bad!! So speaking of the clean freak..Andrew lives here now. He was in Curt's summer class...so weird. He has a blog I just found too if you are curious.
OH Kim I definitely hate cleaning the bathroom too. It is just the worst. However, I am a clean freak so I do clean it once a week, and if you keep up on it then it's not so bad. I miss you, reading your post just made my day. You are too funny!
Oh I couldn't agree with you more!! I hate cleaning the bathroom. I've been lucky enough to have Scott clean the bathroom a couple of times!!! Reminds me of our college days and we all HATED cleaning the bathroom. We had to rotate days... hahah. Bathrooms are gross!

Man, I think I need to clean my bathroom soon too!!! You've inspired me to get an old toothbrush out and just go nuts cleaning!
Diddo to everyone's comments and to an extreme dislike for cleaning the bathroom. I HATE IT! Especially the tub...it's by far the worst. But I did discover that a Mr. Clean magic eraser works wonders on the tub. And I'm going to have to buy a Clorox automatic toilet bowl cleaner thanks to the lovely suggestion posted earlier. And what's up with us never knowing about a toilet bowl brush or even GLOVES?
