December Randoms Part 2

This picture is to show that lovely Poinsettia that a secret santa gave us. I am not kidding you, we live amongst the most generous people. We had no fewer than 5 secret santas this year from our ward. Devin started to feel a little like people feel bad for us, but I really think they just wanted to help Mishell and her transition home. It was truly a blessing for us and we are so grateful. Thank you to whoever you all are.
 Santa letters:

Sorry that is sideways...a bit obnoxious

And upside down, even worse!! How come I don't know how to fix these things any more?

From Flor, in case you wondered.

Just cause the kids looked cute for church

I love Hallie's little notes around the house. She has such a sweet heart.

Hallie's 1st grade program. horrible picture, but she and another little boy started it off with a memorized poem that was just darling.

Another "just because they are cute and festive" picture
 Ogden Christmas Village;
Why have we never done this before? This is so quaint and cute! A whole block in Ogden is set up with these little house displays from various businesses, etc. There are tons of lights and so much to see. We had a great time and it will definitely be on our list for every December.

Oh yeah, remember how I mentioned that our neighbors are awesome? One dropped of this ham and salmon on Christmas Eve and it was truly a blessing for us. We had planned to go to Devin's parents' house Christmas day for dinner, but those plans fell through, which is another story for another day. So our Christmas Eve dinner that we were going to do at home turned into our Christmas dinner for home and the salmon became Christmas Eve dinner. See...people answering our needs without them even knowing they were needs. Super amazing people we live amongst.

Christmas Eve Sugar Cookies! My Aunt Linda's recipe and oh so good, but remind me to at least half it next year! It makes a TON!

And Christmas Eve dinner, thanks to our amazing neighbor.
