So sad that I am so behind on documenting the every day events....sorry for the next few boring posts that are coming- lots and lots of pictures to post.
We participated in Man V. Mud for the 4th year in a row and dare I say-- this year was the most fun yet?? Is that possible? A few things made it so:
1) Our costume theme. Amazing. And so Clark Family.
2) The addition of Sue-Dawg running with us. That woman is a riot. Anything she does is hilarious and fun. I mean, she calls herself Sue-Dawg. Not much else needs to be said about her.
3) The loss of Che' and Landon's awesome track suit pants halfway through the race. Yes, they were ripped off of their very bodies. No, not on purpose. Yes, they then had to finish the race with some creative solutions to keep them sort of covered. Hilarious. Apparently those suits only looked fancy, they weren't actually fancy.
4) The obstacles were better than ever. We started later than we were supposed to and were some of the only ones left on the track & that was awesome- we didn't have to wait for anything.
So-- without further ado, a few (A LOT) of pictures of our Christmas Vacation Man V. Mud experience:

The women... |
Aunt Bethany |
Ellen and Clark. I clearly operated on my shirt all by myself. Thank you DI for coming through once again for our costumes. |
Todd & Margo. THOSE SUITS!! |
Hmm, Uncle Lewis and Audrey, who failed to show up in costume. We love them anyway. |
This is how much Ryen loves pictures. We had to tackle her and this is still all we got. Like mother, like daughter. |
Obviously I was into selfies with everyone this day....so unlike me. |
Rusty and Rocky. |
The whole crew of us. |
Uncle Eddy, Katherine, and Rocky. Isn't Uncle Eddy just a gem in his robe?! |
After. We aren't that muddy because the end is a huge slide into a pit of water, which effectively clean you right up. |
Brad and Sue got twinner nose owies after diving into the bubble pit and taking a hard landing. Hahahah! Can't say the mud run is the safest event, but if that's the worst of it, I think we're doing pretty good! |
Until next year...love these family traditions we have!
