It's Official

I can't tell you the number of times I have used that title for a post. But this time, I really mean it!!!
Devin and I are going to Chicago for Stefani and Ronnie's wedding in May!!!! We got our tickets all squared away today and I couldn't be more excited. Let me just tell you that I love to travel and there is something about getting out that makes life so much better.

I have never been to Chicago, so for anyone who wants to give me ideas on what we should see and what we should do, feel free! I am looking for suggestions. I am a mastermind planner, so by the time this trip happens, you better believe that I will have down a minute by minute itinerary with exact travel plans and such. Can't have it any other way.
As a side note, even though Stef most likely will deny this, I am 100% responsible for this union (well maybe I will give some credit to Camille too). Ronnie was one of our friends our beloved freshmen year. He moved out after that school year to go to law school in Louisiana. The next year, Stefani moved in with us and we became great friends. We then gave Stef Ronnie's email address or vice versa and they started writing love letters, then they started dating, and now they are getting married!! WAHOO!!!

Ha! Kim, I TOTALLY know Ronnie! He was the roommate of a kid I dated. He's a stud--I'm happy he's tying the knot. Please send him my love.

It's a small world after all.

Super fun. I am way jealous that you are going on vacation. But mom told me that you are going to miss my graduation. Ha ha...don't worry about it! I'm sure you'll have a lot more fun in Chicago than sitting through my graduation for 4 hours.

Can I get some credit for having both of their blogs on the Provo Platinum at the same time?

Also, as far as stuff to do in Chicago, I recommend not walking around downtown in a snowstorm when you have a cold.

I'm so excited that you're coming! If you are so keen on taking full credit for our relationship (which is a little generous, considering Ronnie is the one who flew across the country 10 times to visit me), maybe you should start writing your speech for the reception...

I am so glad you are getting a vacation. I know you deserve one after this crazy semester. Devin is so great to treat you to some girl time (receptions and wedding fun are totally for girls). And I am sure you two will have some much needed set aside time together and for that I am so jealous! I love get aways with my hubby! Have so much fun and take lots of pics to post on the blog!

I have oodles of suggestions for you Chi-town trip, we did live there for a brief period after all. Let me know what kinds of things you're interested in doing and I'll give you some suggestions. Number 1 on my list would be getting a chocolate cake shake at Portillo's and then heading over to the Kane county flea market. Oh and a pizza at Giordano's...my mouth is watering:)But that's just me. Navy Pier is fun and Shedd Aquarium and Field's Museum are pretty popular. Let me know what interests you and I may have some ideas. When is the big day?? If it's in the spring you should try to catch a White Sox's game. Okay I'm done now but I could go on and on:)It makes me happy just to think about Chicago.

I have several comments:
1. That's cool that you know Jackie.
2. This is the first time I've commented on a blog in months.
3. We all know I'm a master trip planner (Atlanta). I would be pleased to offer you and Devin my services.
4. I noticed that you took down the countdown till my wedding. That's ok. I can tell you right now that it's 67 days away.
5. I'm so excited that yall are coming to the wedding. In case you haven't heard, Jason will be there too.

a few things:
1) Bryant: No

2) Ronnie: Yes we may use your services. I DO remember Atlanta. And the wedding countdown only came off because I changed my blog background. I should put it back up huh?

3)Steffy: yeah RIGHT!

4)Ashley: Thanks for the suggestions. I will for sure take them to heart. I forgot that you have lived in Chicago

5)Jen: I will call you about the graduation thing. I feel pretty bad.

6)Ann: I for sure will take pictures!! You know I will!!!

I only spent one day in Chicago but it was so much fun just walking the city. you HAVE to go to this restuarant called Ed Debevics... it is hilarious and you will love it.
We also went to Navy Pier (a shopping place) and there are the sear's tower or other towers (we didn't go because they cost too much for our budget). Anyway it will be way fun!

Justin says congrats to stephanie (I do too... but I don't really know her)

I think that you really would like Ed Debevic's...it's this burger place where the waiters totally make fun of you. It can be really funny!

Okay, should I call you Tiffany, The whole planned itinerary is what Tiffany is famous for! But I do agree its good to get a list of stuff to do so you don't waste any time. Chicago would be fun to see. I have never been there either. But I hope you have a great time! You always write the funniest things. You really should become a writer.

How fun that you guys get to go there. I always tell Mike I want to visit Chicago someday. We are only like a 10 hour drive from there. Hopefully we'll get to go while we're here. Hope you are doing well. I miss you Kim. I was thinking the other day how I miss the good old days at LA Weight Loss when we would all just sit around and laugh about the crazies that would come in. You guys made that job so much fun. It was like getting paid to hang out with friends.
