There are many majillion reasons why I love my husband, but I just have to let everyone know how lucky I am. You know that time of the year when you have 3 projects due, 2 papers to write (including a 20 pager), and 6 tests coming up? You know...the time where you don't do your hair for a week straight, forget to sleep regularly, and allow yourself to have brownies for dinner after you decided they sounded good? Yep, you all know the time...FINALS! We are in the midst of finals right about now. I would say that this has been the busiest semester I have had by far in my college career. I did fine during the semester, but for some reason at this time it just seems like everything has come to the surface and everything is demanding my attention. Well, it doesn't help that I haven't had time to clean my house in a long time. I try to keep things tidy, but I know the dirt is under there and that seems to have been stressing me out lately on top of everything else. So I came home from work today and my sweet husband had cleaned the entire house! I don't just mean tidy up, I mean he cleaned EVERYTHING!! The floors were cleaned and vacuumed, the bathroom deep cleaned, the bed made, the dishes done, but further than that, he had cleaned out the cupboards in the kitchen and organized them, cleaned out the drawers and organized them, and cleaned out the fridge and wiped it all down! He also cleaned out our closet and folded all the clothes (you know how everything just turns into piles) and organized the shoes (that end up in those same piles). Everything is so sparkly clean! I just love him so much. He is so sweet because he knows exactly what to do to make me happy and he makes sure to do it, even though he is stretched for time just as much as I am. I realize I am lucky and I need to be more grateful. I think that is my lesson for the day.

WOW!! Way to go Devin! That is a great stress reliever to have a hubby who would do that. You did get a great husband... that deviN!

...And Kim, I just have to tell you that at least 3 times in the past couple weeks, Bryant and I have purposefully gone to your blog just so we could have Christmas music playing in the background! :) Thanks for the tunes!! It's as if you were with us when we were putting up our tree... kind of. ;)
amazing! he's a keeper! Seriously he must have been fed up with that dirty house and instincts kicked in. I am still rather speechless about the cupboards and the closet. What a man! hope finals went okay..they always do...remember that. And its okay to eat brownies for dinner..as long as you have them with milk...or water is good too if you aren't a milk drinker. YOu know brownies have eggs and ...and... well, they have eggs and thats protein. maybe next week will be better.
What a sweet husband. That is exactly what you needed for a pick me up. Cleaning is the last thing you want to do if you have energy and time during those crazy life moments. I can totally understand how that must have made you feel. Way to go Devo!
