Can I have your attention please?

Dear Gabe, Russ, Bryant, Ronnie, Jason, Aaron, Loyd, and anyone else under the sound of my voice that has previously called us "the freshmen."
Marissa officially stated, on the record, today that we are no longer the "freshmen" because we are making the move to VP. And we all know that whatever Marissa says, GOES!
Any questions may be addressed to the boss herself.
Thank you for your time.

i have always tried to avoid the sexist term 'freshman'. i will continue to reference you with the gender inclusive 'freshperson'.

I say that Marissa's full of crap.

Gentleman... it's true. I did tell Kim that they could no longer be termed "the freshmen" at the point they've crossed over and are making the move to VP. Lets be honest--they've shown a sense of maturity in their decision to move over to VP. However, I also told her that although everything I say, goes--you all never listened to me anyway so there was no reason to believe that you'd start now.

For the sake of our friends though--maybe you ought to consider giving them a break. At the very least you could refer to them as the year in school that they actually are.

Welcome to VP girls--we're glad you're here!

Thank you so much, Marissa, for being our one defender of truth and right.

We called you "the girls across the hall." But now you are on the opposite side of the building and downstairs. What should we call you now?

The appropriate term for them now would be, "the freshmen".

Well, I've had a change of heart. I propose that we don't call them "the freshmen" anymore. Instead, owing to some of their new found La-tin roots, they should be called "La Freshmen."

sorry girls... I did my best.

Due to some summer-lovin' on the part of our young friends, I suggest we hyphenate the term to "the FRESH-men."

i think i have to side with Russ on this one

I'm pretty sure the boys will never reform their ways, even at the risk of incurring the wrath of Marissa. At Christina's wedding reception, all the guests were supposed to sign a mat that frames a picture of her and Brandon. Bryant's message was, "Can I still call you a freshman?" Something tells me he wasn't *really* asking for permission.
