Mishell in Ecuador 2025

Mishell spent 7 weeks this summer volunteering for OSSO in Cuenca, Ecuador, just like she did last summer. She had a blast and serving the children and special needs adults there brings her a lot of joy and fulfillment. She had a great time on the weekly field trips as well, exploring her home country. We are happy she is home, but thrilled she gets this opportunity that is so meaningful to her.

Lizzie's 9th Birthday!

Lizzie-Biz turned 9 on July 18! These pictures are all backwards, but such is the joy of doing this on my phone.

This year, Lizzie decided she wanted to have her four cousins Lucy, Emma, Sam, and Luke come down and spend the day with her. Her Grandpa Dave and Grandma Sharon kindly drove them down and we spent the day at the Brigham City Pool, then had homemade pizza and donut cake at home, then fire pit and a backyard movie. The cousins then slept over and after a pancake breakfast, Grandma and Grandpa drove them home. Such a fun and easy party for her! Love those kids and the relationship they have with each other!

The collage shows well Lizzie's personality. She's a riot and the life of the party. Look at those poses. She's an extrovert and very very social, like her mother. Lizzie is smart and artistically talented. She's a great student and manages all of her own schoolwork and tasks. As the last child, she runs around on her own around the neighborhood and we often do not know where she is. She has a great group of girlfriends right by our house and we are grateful for all of their parents, who are doing their part in raising her too 🤣. Lizzie is a great caboose and we are so glad she's ours!

Bear Lake 2025

One of our very favorite traditions! Bear Lake! We skipped going last summer in favor of our national parks road trip (which was AMAZING), so it was so fun to be back this year. I just wish we could stay longer. We had 2.5 days on the lake, eating all the shakes, doing puzzles, swimming, playing pickleball, and late night games. The fun was only interrupted by Jace projectile vomiting on the last night all over himself, his bunk bed, and his poor cousin below him. We won't soon forget that memory, unfortunately. Mishell was in Ecuador, so she missed out, but we had a great time with the rest of us! Mikey and Lara are always great to let us use their boat and patient as they teach the kids to surf and do all the things. Lots and lots of fun- can't be beat.

You know that in a 2.5 day period, we take hundreds of pictures and videos, so this is really narrowing it down. haha!

Please take note of Lizzie's poses throughout. Where does this child come from?

"THE" annual photo. Oldest to youngest. Flor just keeps getting shorter and shorter.

Until next year!

Girl's Camp!

I have been our ward's Young Women's president since last September. I have never served in YW at all- so this has been a fun adjustment! It has actually been incredible and I have loved it so much. The girls are amazing and the leaders I serve with are equally amazing and have become such good friends. We have a really small group of girls; 14 after the seniors graduated last year.

This year for camp, we went to a cabin of a family in our ward above Causey. We had the BEST experience and the girls were such a unified little pack the whole time. It was incredible. My fellow leaders and I stayed up late laughing and talking every night and we made a lot of memories. We were there for 3 days and packed it all in! Enjoy way too many pictures. :)

BEST time! Can't wait until next year!
